What happens when a proper Upper East Side cat lady is kidnapped by a Norwegian Death Metal band and suffers the Stockholm Syndrome? You get Mrs. Smith.

Noted philanthropist, tone poet, and world’s most unlikely guitar hero, MRS. SMITH comes to Club Helsinki for an encounter with unbridled musical exploration, fully bonkers comedic storytelling, and Lady of a Certain Age pathos. A twisted, rock comedy-cabaret on acid, Mrs. Smith is a phenomenon that needs to be seen to be believed. Live sung vocals, astonishing guitar pyrotechnics, and interactive character comedy merge to create an unforgettable experience.

Mrs. Smith performs weekly at Susanne Bartsch’s extravagent “Follies” at the McKittrick Hotel with cast regulars Joey Arias, Amanda LaPore, and Murray Hill. She has also performed at Bard College’s Spiegeltent, Joe’s Pub, The Cutting Room, Le Poisson Rouge, Williamsburg Music Hall, Life Ball in Vienna, The NAMM Show in LA and the legendary Bushwig Festival, among others.

Her cabaret show, “Mrs. Smith’s Broadway Cat-tacular!” wow’ed audiences and was hailed by the New York Post as “Purrfect summer fare!” with Mrs. Smith’s performance described as “Off its meds” by the Boston Globe, “Luminous” by Gay City News, and “Oddly poignant” by the New York Times.
